Overview

The Synthesis XCT 11 Carbon Wheelset from Crankbrothers isn't just another company trying to establish themselves in the carbon wheel manufacturing business. The Synthesis wheels offer something extremely unique - a custom tuned front and rear wheel. A common trend with riders is to have a wider front tire and a narrower rear tire. Thus, Crankbrothers has manufactured these wheels with differing internal widths for the front and rear wheel. But Crankbrothers didn't stop there! On top of the internal widths accomadating the tire widths, the spoke counts will be different as well. The rear wheel will have a 32 hole spoke count, giving the rider a stiffer feel for when the terrain requires the rear end to hold its line and not flex as much. On the front end, you'll receive a 28 hole spoke count providing a more compliant and forgiving front end.
