The SB130 is positioned to step in and dominate an already popular category. With 150mm front and 130mm rear travel, laser-precise steering geometry, impeccable body positioning, and generous 29” wheels - this is a bike that re-writes the book on trail two-niners. The 130 eats rocky climbs for breakfast, and laughs in the face of technical descents. For a lightweight and efficient chassis, this bike scarcely knows any downhill limits. Yeti went back to the drawing board - and they designed a monster.

The SB130 was everything I wanted it to be. Plush but supportive. Stable but maneuverable. Composed but also frisky. This bike is a paradox. It really combines a lot of characteristics that used to be mutually exclusive. It’s plenty capable and comfortable for high-country pucker-fests, and it’s not a drag on big fire road grinds. This bike is a pleasure to ride, and it appears to be a highly-improved design overall.
The SB130 represents the pinnacle of Yeti's engineering and design experience.
A sharp new aesthetic, and perfectly refined geometry are just a couple of the 130's attractive features.
The GBS Demo Bike pictured here is one of three colors: Black (raw carbon) Turquoise Gloss, and Spruce (satin finish - shown here)
Keep what works, and imporve everything else - new cable management system, and same award-winning Switch Infinity.
The proven Switch Infinity link glides smoothly up and down through the travel, providing perfect kinematics.
Burly hardware, and overbuilt carbon frames now carry a lifetime warranty.
The bottle has been moved! Inside the frame, right where you wanted it.
Post mount rear brake accepts no less than a 180mm rotor - trust us, you'll need it!
Cable and hose intakes resemble something you'd see on an exotic sports car. Routing couldn't be easier.
Clearances are improved everywhere: Tires, seatpost, standover... plenty of room to play.
The classic metal badge is riveted on the headtube, along with tasteful color accents.
Bikes ship with a bolt-on rear axle for that little extra bit of clearance and weight savings. Or - one less thing to break off!
The linear profile of the 130's frame looks strong and beautiful at the same time.
150mm of travel in the front should be more than enough for some serious shredding.
The DPX2 is tuned beautifully for this bike, and puts the rarely needed oompression lever right within easy reach.
Turq Series bikes come with Factory Series suspension - This X01 bike uses the Fit 4 damper.
Gone are the days of overly long seat tubes! This short/stout design allows for maximum dropper length.
An Aggressor 2.3" grips like a cat on carpet.
The 2.5" DHF is generous in size and loves to rail corners.
The 130's 77 degree seat tube angle puts you in a diabolically efficient position to sit and pedal up anything.
The slack 65.5 degree head tube angle works beautifully with the new reduced-offset fork.
The short headtube and integrated headset make more room for a greater variety of handlebar heights.
The only Shimano you'll find on 2019 Yeti is the brakes. Good old XT M8000s here.
Ergon EVO Grips, right outta the box? Sweet!
Yeti's custom saddle is now on the platform of the popular Volt model. Ride comfy.
30mm wide rims are the sweet spot.
The shock-extender hardware is another brilliant piece of engineering.
DT's straight-pull hubs are a totally optimal choice.
