Rider Feedback
“I’m as skeptical as anyone about the appropriateness of motor-assisted bikes on the trail - but after having spent some time riding the Shuttle, I can absolutely see how they would fit into the mix. Although the bike is somewhat bigger and heavier than a normal carbon MTB, it is never unwieldy or hard to control on the trail. Speed is easily controlled under power by the multi-mode power settings, and excess speed is easily scrubbed with the big 4-piston brakes. The drive system produces a subtle hum, but is not loud enough to spoil the outdoor experience.. Although I’m far from trading in my traditional Non-E-bike towards one of these, I’m already fantasizing about dawn-patrols to mountain tops without needing to pack light.”
