Pivot Firebird 29

Overview

Words can hardly describe the feeling of riding a bike like the Firebird 29. It’s terrifyingly fast. It knows no limits. It’s... insane. For a bike that fearlessly dominates downhill terrain, it’s incredibly well behaved on the climbs. It’s a bike that never could have existed without the bold innovation of a company like Pivot. They took the rule book and burned it - out of the ashes came the biggest, baddest thing the mountain bike world has ever seen.

Rider Feedback

“I thought the 27.5 Firebird was the meanest enduro rig possible, and I never could have imagined that something else could outperform it. When it comes to flat-out speed, I doubt that anyone could argue the Firebird 29 is the King. it gives you the sensation that 30mph is just scratching the surface - and it’d be downright scary to explore the bike’s actual limits. That being said, I also climbed over 2500’ over the course of the ride, and I was amazed by the pedalling performance - even with the rear shock compression damping wide open".
