Rider Feedback
This bike is fast. There is just no other word that sums it up. The Forward Geometry gives me plenty of room to throw my weight around, and there is just an infinite amount of stability. I cannot believe how efficiently this bike pedals - and I honestly think it gives a lot of 150mm travel bikes a run for their money. The bike takes high-speed, off-camber, sketchy turns and makes them feel like you’re on rails. It’s truly incredible. For a relatively modest component spec, everything feels incredibly solid. The frame technology is higher-end than most comparably kitted bikes, and that fact should not be overlooked when comparing prices.
Nick - Future Foxy Owner
The Mondraker Foxy Carbon - shown here in the RR SL version.
The aesthetic on this amazing bike is striking and slightly intimidating.
The Foxy's intelligent design, and flawless execution are marvelous.
The architecture of this carbon frame is no gimmick, it's all about superior function.
Clean, pleasing lines on the frame translate seamlessly to perfect lines on the trail.
A variety of unique build kits are available to suit every rider and budget.
The widely-spaced boost rear triangle uses a double-wishbone structure for maximum stiffness.
Mondraker's ZERO suspension design is absolutely incredible.
Linear stays are structurally optimized for lightweight, compliance and stiffness.
A cavernous opening in the front triangle allows for many on-bike storage opportunities.
A single mounting point on the downtube is highly accessible.
The headtube junction maximizes structural integrity, without reliance on excess material.
Mondraker's Forward Geometry is often imitated, but never duplicated.
The razor-thin toptube is unmistakably Mondraker.
Every Foxy Carbon build includes a dropper seatpost. This Build has the Fox Transfer Elite.
The burly upper link is machined to perfection, and joined with a hollow carbon structure.
The Fox Factory DPX2 runs a light tune, and is easily adjusted.
A brilliantly designed mud guard keeps the shock body clean.
Cable routing is an absolute breeze, with no teeny parts or flimsy hardware.
ISCG05 mounting points allow for aggressive riders to armor up.
The SRAM X01 Eagle drivetrain on this bike allows you to sit and pedal, or stand and mash.
Adjustable rear-end geometry is achieved by reversible dropouts.
Threaded, external bb cups for long, quiet performance, and easy-to-find parts.
The Zero suspension mounts the rear shock onto the lower link, for dynamic, smooth suspension performance.
Hoses and housing are orchestrated beautifully out of, and back into the frame.
The rear shock mounting orientation keeps damping controls easily within reach.
Tasteful color and component specs combine to create a very desirable bike.
Designed as a 27.5" only bike, the Foxy maintains a lively character.
The stout, tapered headtube uses inset bearings for minimal stack height.
Part of the Forward Geometry system, the Foxy uses an incredibly short stem.
Maximum width on the faceplate means maximum stiffness and strength.
A beautiful design from every angle.
Cockpit components like this make you feel like a stealth fighter pilot.
Top-of-the line Fox Factory EVOL air spring.
Generous clearance up front easily fits the Magic Mary 2.6" tire.
The 150mm Fox 34 series fork saves weight, but provides excellent performance.
Kashima coated stanchions are buttery smooth, and easy on the eyes.
Stock tires are the Maxxis High Roller 2.3" - but GBS wanted to go big and upgrade the rubber on our demos.
A bike this capable needs all the rubber it can fit.
2018 Fox forks have an easy-reference chart for on-the-fly setup.
Rear suspension compression damping is rarely needed, but locks things out completely.
DT Swiss XM1501 wheels are bomber - possibly the best wheels on the market.
A 30mm wide rim is spot-on for the kind of gnar you'll be charging on the Foxy.
The XM series hard alloy rims are incredibly light and virtually indestructible.
Out back, clearance for another 2.6" tire is no problem. A perfect profile for this rig.
DT's 240 level straight-pull hubs are the industry standard.
15mm x 110mm boost front spacing for optimum stiffness-to-weight ratio.
XTR M9020 brakes are the best of the best.
Incredible braking performance, power and modulation in a lightweight, beautiful package.
You'll need every bit of these brakes to reign in the speed of the Foxy.
Heat is managed wonderfully, even with a modest rotor size.
Foxy RR SL Builds include XTR "Freeza" rotors - not the RT-86 shown here.
Flat-mount brake adaptors are another clever design feature.
The Fox 1x dropper control is elegant and ergonomic.
A Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.6" Speedgrip rear tire replaces the Maxxis High Roller on our demo bikes.
Excellent performance, no matter the challenge.
Get on a Foxy - and lead the pack.
