Rent a Bike in Golden, CO
Visit us at Golden Bike Shop and rent a mountain bike to explore the incredible trails right in our backyard! Our rental fleet includes both full-suspension analog and e-bikes, designed to handle all types of dirt trails. Whether you’re visiting from out of town or looking to try a different style of riding, our rental bikes provide a reliable, trail-ready way to experience Golden and the surrounding Front Range. We’re always happy to offer trail recommendations for riders of every skill level.

What to Expect
- Rental Time Frames: Bike reservations are available for pickup after 4PM the day before the Planned Start Day and due back at 10am on the Planned Finish Day. Please note GBS is closed on Saturdays. All Saturday reservations must be picked up on Friday evening after 4PM and are due back on Sunday at 10am. Sunday rentals can be picked up at 10am.
- Reservations & Terms: All reservations are made online and paid in full at time of booking. Credit cards are kept on file for damages, loss and late fees. Each rider is required to read and sign the e-waiver.
- 48 hour Cancellation Policy: Reservations require a 48 hour notice prior to cancellation for a full refund. Cancellations made inside 48 hours are not eligible for a refund.
- Arrive with Time: Plan for 30 minutes at the shop for rental pickup. This gives us time to dial in your suspension and bike fit as well as fill out our Pre-Rental Inspection Checklist.
- Standard rental expenses will NOT be credited towards the purchase of a new bike. ONLY Demo Bike expenses are able to be credited towards the purchase of your new bike within 60 days of the first demo.
Damage Policy
- At the time of rental pickup, customers will visually inspect their rental bike and complete a Pre-Rental Inspection Checklist with a Golden Bike Shop staff member. The form will be signed and dated by both the customer and staff member to acknowledge any existing damage prior to the start of the reservation.
- Customers are responsible for any damage incurred during the rental period beyond normal wear and tear and will be charged accordingly upon return. This includes, but is not limited to, broken components, broken frames, scratched stanchions, paint gouges and torn tires.
- Customers agree to these terms by signing the required Waiver at time of reservation.
