The Experience

At Golden Bike Shop, our Demo Program delivers a tailored experience designed to help you find your next bike. Our knowledgeable team guides you through selecting the ideal model to match your riding style, then dials in the details by setting up suspension, seat height and making any necessary adjustments to the cockpit. With an extensive fleet of both e-bikes and analog bikes from Pivot, Yeti and Santa Cruz, riders can take their demo beyond the parking lot and onto the dirt, experiencing real-world performance and the defining characteristics of each bike. We’re also happy to recommend local trails that match your preferred style of riding.

Try before you Buy

Golden Bike Shop will refund you up to $500 of demo expenses when you buy a new bike from us within 60 days of the first demo. We want you to be able to test out different bikes and be certain you have found the perfect match for your new ride.

What to Expect

Demo Time Frames: Bike reservations are available for pickup after 4PM the day before the Planned Start Day and due back at 10am on the Planned Finish Day. Please note GBS is closed on Saturdays. All Saturday reservations must be picked up on Friday evening after 4PM and are due back on Sunday at 10am. Sunday rentals can be picked up at 10am.
Reservations & Terms: All reservations are made online and paid in full at time of booking. Credit cards are kept on file for damages, loss and late fees. Each rider is required to read and sign the e-waiver.
48 hour Cancellation Policy: Reservations require a 48 hour notice prior to cancellation for a full refund. Cancellations made inside 48 hours are not eligible for a refund.
Arrive with Time: Plan for 30 minutes at the shop for demo pickup. This gives us time to dial in your suspension and bike fit as well as fill out our Pre-Rental Inspection Checklist.

Damage Policy

At the time of demo pickup, customers will visually inspect their demo bike and complete a Pre-Rental Inspection Checklist with a Golden Bike Shop staff member. The form will be signed and dated by both the customer and staff member to acknowledge any existing damage prior to the start of the reservation.
Customers are responsible for any damage incurred during the demo period beyond normal wear and tear and will be charged accordingly upon return. This includes, but is not limited to, broken components, broken frames, scratched stanchions, paint gouges, torn tires and transportation damage.
Customers agree to these terms by signing the required Waiver at time of reservation.
