The half pound lighter Pivot Mach 429SL Carbon is the bike that you need when the course tests both your engine size and your handling skills. Dominate in any event with the newest version of our award winning 100mm 29er – a perfect combination of incredible racing efficiency and trail-worthy technical prowess.

The space age chassis drops over 1/2lb (226g) via the use of leading-edge carbon fiber and our proprietary hollow-core, internal-mandrel process. This coveted production technology enables us to create best-in-class frames with the “lighter, stiffer, stronger” qualities that put the Mach 429SL Carbon at the top of the list.

To achieve a huge reduction in weight and an increase in frame stiffness, our engineers looked for every possible advantage via optimizing the composite materials and lay-up structure in the 429’s huge, box-section downtube and bottom bracket area. From the tapered head tube to the highly-specific oversize rear triangle tube sections, nothing was left untouched when we made the Mach 429SL Carbon frame the lightest 29er chassis – with the best power transfer – available today.

For those seeking the top of the line in components and compatibility, the Pivot Mach 429SL Carbon is only the second production mountain bike in the world to be fully Di2 integrated (the Pivot Mach 4 Carbon being the first). Featuring Pivot’s Cable Port System, internal routing for any component is easy to install and maintain via large, easy to access ports and interchangeable covers. Riders have the ability to switch between a variety of cable routing options, allowing for the cleanest possible installation of wires, batteries and cables. Rest easy knowing that no matter what components or gearing you choose, now or in the future, we have you covered.

Our race-winning, trail-slaying Mach 429SL Carbon geometry is tried, tested and confidence-inspiring. On the uphill, you benefit from the latest in dw-link® suspension design with a Fox Float Kashima Factory shock, performance-tuned specifically for the Mach 429SL Carbon. You can expect World Cup level efficiency provided by dw-link®’s anti-squat characteristics, instant acceleration and unparalleled climbing traction.

Downhill, the 100mm of dw-link® suspension performs like a longer travel bike – an incredibly capable ride in technical terrain and ready for record-setting descents, enhanced by the precise feel of 12 x 142mm rear spacing and the rollover qualities of the 29 inch wheel.

The Mach 4SL Carbon is designed to work with 100 to 120mm forks, allowing for perfect rider optimization – shorter for your cross country weapon, longer for the ultimate in trail-handling.

Our mountain bikes feature the PF92 bottom bracket. Collaboratively developed by our engineers and Shimano, this allows for wider pivots and better bearing support, both of which contribute to increased frame stiffness and strength.

Other essential details include post mount disc brake mounts for easy set up and weight savings, direct mount front derailleur for perfect shifting, stealth dropper compatibility and Enduro Max cartridge bearings throughout. Our 429SL frame will accommodate two water bottles of any size and boasts updated graphics for a sleek, race-inspired look.

We take quality and workmanship seriously at Pivot, and know that the details are what make a great rider experience. Every Pivot Cycles frame undergoes a 28 step assembly and quality control check to ensure that the only thing you need to think about is the ride.

There are days when the race just demands something a little (or a lot) more rigid but there’s no reason to suffer unnecessarily while sprinting off the front of the pack. We designed the LES to be the lightest, fastest race machine made and ensured that it delivered this performance at every point in the race from the smoothest to the roughest parts of the course. The LES provides all of this and more due to its ultra lightweight ride tuned composite chassis that’s incredibly stiff in all the right places yet still the most comfortable riding race bike ever developed.

For the single speed rider, the LES pulls out all the stops with our patent pending Swinger dropout system. The Swinger adjustable system allows single speed riders the simplicity of a vertical dropout design with quick click indexed adjustable chain tensioning. The Swinger’s quick indexing allows for a lightweight, stable and compact adjustment system with quick, easy gearing changes and great chain tension stability. Once you ride the LES with the Swinger system, you’ll see that this is a revelation in simplicity and pure functionality for the single speed rider. For those wanting to go fast with gears or without, the new Pivot LES offers you the ultimate ultra-lightweight, go fast tool in a high performance race package like only Pivot can deliver.

LES Features

  • Pivot’s exclusive hollow box, high-compression internal mandrel technology allows for greater compaction and smoother internal walls resulting in a lighter, stronger, highly optimized, ride tuned frame design. This technology allows the frame to be extremely lightweight while also having a very balanced feel with a great combination of stiffness and ride quality.
  • Full internal shift cable routing with under bottom bracket access port design for hassle free installation. The LES features well thought-out internal cable routing that protects the cables from contamination while also being very user serviceable and easy to route which is something that cannot be said for most internal routed designs.
  • Chainstay length and tire clearance: The LES features extremely short 17.1” chain stays. This is in 26” wheel territory and matches the shortest chainstay lengths out there so riders have a tight handling, responsive bike along with the benefits of 29” wheels. The real magic in the LES design is that we clear some of the biggest 29er tires in the market. Go ahead and run your 2.3’s; the LES has ample clearance.
  • Dropouts: The LES dropouts (included with every frame) are full molded hi-mod carbon fiber featuring a 142 X 12mm through axle, post style disk brake mounts and a replaceable derailleur hanger. These cleanly integrate into the frame giving little hint that the dropouts are removable. The Swinger system provides quick, consistent, indexed chain adjustments for single speed use along with fast wheel changes and no change in brake adjustments.

Ear-to-ear grins come standard with the new Pivot LES Fat – the world’s most versatile big-tire machine. The full carbon frame of the Pivot LES Fat features leading-edge materials and our proprietary hollow-core, internal-molding process. This coveted technology enables us to create an ultra-lightweight frame featuring the largest downtube in the category and a 132mm Press Fit BB for best-in-class power transfer.

Our patented Swinger II dropout system works with all plus / fat bike wheelsizes. Choose the shortest possible chainstay length for a flickable, playful ride or choose a longer wheelbase and more tire clearance for stability with heavy loads and in messy conditions. The LES Fat maintains ideal geometry via the indexed adjustment arc of the dropouts – the bigger the wheel and the more clearance, the lower the bottom bracket. Included are two headset cup options (Zero Stack and 18mm), for perfect front end geometry at any wheelsize.

The LES Fat is RockShox Bluto compatible and includes a Pivot designed carbon fork with 150mm dropout spacing – one wheelset will work with both options. 2x and 1x gearing compatibility makes the LES Fat an ideal choice in any terrain, and the LES Fat rear spacing is 197mm with an ergo-friendly low Q-factor design when built with the Pivot/E-Thirteen co-designed fat bike crankset. The Pivot Cable Port System makes internal routing simple to install and maintain via large, easy to access ports and interchangeable covers. Easily switch between a variety of cable routing options for the cleanest installation. Additional details include integrated rear rack mounts, internal dropper post routing and 3 water bottle mounts – making the LES Fat the perfect choice for any big tire adventure.

Swinger II Dropout System

The LES Fat features our newly patented Swinger II dropout system, enabling you to run almost any available plus or fat bike wheelsize, easily switch between singlespeed and geared drivetrains and choose your chainstay length based on conditions and desired handling characteristics. With the option to run every tire size from 26 X 3.8, 26 X 4.8, 27.5+, 29+ and anything in between, your bike is really a quiver of options that take you into any season and any condition.

Riders also have the option to set chainstay length within the Swinger II system. The shortest possible setting gives you a flickable, playful ride previously unknown in the big tire category – we feature the shortest chainstays for every wheelsize category. Adjusting for maximum wheelbase and tire clearance (the LES Fat accommodates rubber up to 5” in diameter) gives you an incredibly stable ride for heavy loads and messy conditions.

Great Geometry at Any Wheelsize

No matter what wheel/tire combination you choose, great handing characteristics are an imperative. The Swinger II dropout system allows the LES Fat to maintain ideal Geometry via an indexed adjustment arc designed into the dropouts – the bigger the wheel and the more clearance you choose, the lower the bottom bracket.

In conjunction with the adjustable rear dropouts, we’ve also accounted for how changing wheelsizes affects the front of the bike. Included with every LES Fat frameset and complete bike are two lower headset cup options – when using a 29+ wheelset or the Rock Shox Bluto suspension fork, choose the Zero Stack option. For 26” wheel options, choose the 18mm cup.

Custom Designed Fork and Bluto Compatibility

The LES Fat frameset includes a Pivot designed carbon, tapered steerer rigid fork that easily accommodates any wheelsize with clearance to spare. This full carbon fork features 150mm dropout spacing – the same spacing as a RockShox Bluto suspension fork. Riders who choose to switch between the supplied rigid fork and a Bluto fork will only need one 150mm compatible wheelset to work with either option.

Ideal Gearing and Ergonomics

Ergonomics and gearing are the key to making a big-tire bike into your daily driver. We at Pivot expect to see the LES Fat in a wide variety of terrain and riding surfaces and in everything from racing events to multi week tours. For the best performance in both high and low cadence conditions, we’ve made sure that the LES Fat is both kind to your knees and that it accommodates a wide variety of 1x, 2x and singlespeed gearing set-ups.

Massive chainstay clearance (up to 5” tires) is made even more useful with a q-factor and chainline much closer to that of bikes designed to cleat only 4” or smaller tires. You will find 197mm rear spacing on the LES Fat paired with a 15mm narrower knee-saving q-factor when built with the Pivot/E-Thirteen co-designed fat bike crankset that ships on every LES Fat complete bike.

2x and 1x gearing compatibility makes the LES Fat an ideal choice in any terrain. The LES Fat complete bike comes with a 1x set up, but the crank spider is 2x compatible. The frame features a low profile e-type mount included with both the frameset and complete bike that works with Shimano’s sideswing front derailleur.
For those that prefer the simplest solution, the Swinger II dropout system also singlespeed compatible – no need to switch dropout hardware.

Pivot Carbon Frame Design

The full carbon frame of the Pivot LES Fat features leading-edge materials and our proprietary hollow-core, internal-molding process. This coveted production technology enables us to create a best-in-class frame with the lighter, stiffer, stronger qualities needed to make a do-anything fat bike. In order to support a wide range of wheelsizes, while tracking and accelerating beyond expectations, the LES Fat features the largest downtube in the category, as well as optimized layup structure, top tube and seatstay/chainstay shaping. This proprietary design gives the LES Fat best in class power transfer and the vertical compliance that makes epic rides comfortable and fun.

Pivot Cable Port System

Additional foul weather advantages are found in the Pivot Cable Port System. Internal routing for any component is easy to install and maintain via large, easy to access ports and interchangeable covers. Riders have the ability to switch between a variety of cable routing options, allowing for the cleanest possible installation. Rest easy knowing that no matter what components or gearing you choose, now or in the future, we have you covered.

Vault

Vault

700c | 'Cross | Gravel | Any road, any time

The Vault has quickly garnered a reputation as the most versatile, performance-driven cross/gravel bike in the sport. With wins
in the Rock Cobbler gravel race and a first and third place finish in the Trans America Bike Race, the Vault has dominated everything from gravel races to ultra-endurance events. The Vault boasts the next generation of cyclocross/gravel racing
geometry, with a lower bottom bracket height, shorter chain stays, class leading tire clearance and smooth, polished lines
designed for quick, easy shouldering to get over any obstacles. The attention to detail on the Vault is second to none.

The Vault comes equipped with the latest in cyclocross frame technology, including full internal routing for mechanical or
electronic drivetrains. Out of the gate the Vault was designed with a focus on disc brake optimization, making sure the Vault
would be the ultimate disc brake cross bike. However, we did not stop there. We understand that for traditional cross races there’s still a desire to run cantilever brakes in certain racing applications. Because of this, the Vault features full cantilever capabilities with recessed (hidden) threaded inserts in the seat stays and fork, and dropouts that convert from 135mm disc brake spacing back to 130mm road spacing. Whether you’re new to cross racing, looking to enter your first gravel race or a seasoned veteran, the Vault sets a higher bar for ride, style and tuned performance while redefining what is possible in the world of cyclocross and gravel racing.

Vault Features

  • Internal cable routing adapts easily to either electronic or cable actuated shift systems. While the stealthy internal top tube brake routing can be totally disguised in disc brake form or cleanly hidden out of the way with cantilever brakes making portaging your bike a clean, snag-free affair.
  • The Vault’s 1.5 inch tapered steerer fork with oversize crown optimizes stiffness, increases steering precision, provides great mud clearance while eliminating brake chatter and can be used with either cantilever or disc brakes.
  • The Vault frame features the BB386EVO bottom bracket system (designed by our own Chris Cocalis). This maximum size BB greatly increases torsional rigidity and strength and improves power transfer for a more efficient ride while also providing for more tire clearance to clear the widest rims on the market.
  • The Vault converts seamlessly from cantilever to disc with our innovative and clean removable brake post system, while the Vault’s carbon rear dropouts incorporate a dual insert system which allows easy conversion between 130mm and 135mm spacing for use with either standard road or disc brake specific wheels designs.
